Just a very brief tour of ubuntu 11.10 so you can see how it looks like.. Specs: OptiplexGX520 2X512mb Ram(1GB total installed)(4GB Maximum) Intel Pentium 4 HT Processor 1TB HDD Note:Ubuntu 11.10 runs blazing fast on my machine,despite its low specs,the reason is looks slow,its because of the app that records you desktop makes it run super slow. But still decent and faster than any windows OS on my specs than when i run a windows os by itself

Shutting down Ubuntu 11.10 - GNOME-Shell
To shut down your new system you must click in your name on top right, then press ALT and susppend will be changed by Power off. Then you click, and choose restart or shut down
