Motorola Droid How to ROOT your Droid - The Easy Way!

**Big shout out to GrandMasterB over at AndroidForums very well informed guy over there, great help, Thanks!** You guys asked for it so here ya go, This will be 1 of 3 videos showing how to Root your droid, create a Nandroid backup, and the installation of a custom ROM. Oh and I have a head cold so I am kinda congested, I sound weird... Hope you don't mind =D This video is showing you how to ROOT your Motorola Droid. This is most likley the easiest approach to doing it, honestly should only take you about 5 minutes to do this. If you follow the steps closely and watch and listen you wont do anything wrong to your phone Please remember anytime you tamper with your phone you can harm it so please pay attention to my tutorial, and when in doubt ask a question or follow the guide along with the video for twice the reassurance. How to Root your Droid X 2.2.1 Froyo

This is a tutorial on how to root your Droid X version 2.2.1, aka Froyo. Requirements: -Droid X/1/2 (most Android models work) -Internet z4root mod download: http://www.4shared.com/file/HvJ7Anrq/z4root130.htm Text Instructions: 1) Go to Browser, go to www.4shared.com, search for z4root.apk, wait 20s. 2) After 20s, download the file and install, then go back to your home screen. 3) Go to your applications list, and select z4root, once open select permanent root, and wait 5-10minutes. Your device should reboot. 4) Your device is now rooted.
