First Look: Ubuntu Unity 2D

Today we will be taking a look at what is to come in Ubuntu 11.04, the Unity desktop interface. If you would like to try the 2D version on your Ubuntu computer simply do the following steps: 1. Open Terminal 2. Type: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:unity-2d-team/unity-2d-daily && sudo apt-get update, then hit enter. 3. Type: sudo apt-get install unity-qt-default-settings, then hit enter. 4. When the process is completed simply log out and go to the bottom of the Ubuntu login screen to the drop down menu and click Unity 2D. Thanks for Watching!
